WV Young Writers Contest
The statewide West Virginia Young Writers Contest is sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Education and the Central West Virginia Writing Project. The contest is designed to promote writing in West Virginia’s schools.
The annual Young Writers Contest recognizes excellence in writing by each county’s most talented students in 1st through 12th grades. For more information, please see the link below to visit the WV Department of Education website.
NWP@WVU, along with the Monongalia County Schools, sponsors a Young Writers Celebration in May for the K-12 county winners of the Young Writers Contest.
